That'll be a job for Karyx then!

With her current site failing to reflect either the music or her vibrant personality, Arda turned to Karyx to create a website that was easy to update AND easy on the eye.

Arda’s uplifting ballads seemed perfectly suited to a more naturalistic design style - no microfonts and hard edged geometry needed here. Karyx took a minimal design brief (‘...dried flowers’) and worked up a subtle 'arts and crafts' homage designed around one of Arda’s own notebooks.

Using sheets of homemade paper (amazing what you can do with old copies of the Big Issue!), bound together with tissue paper, ribbon and stitching, the layered look of the notebook pages were built up from photos tweaked and roughed up in PhotoShop.

Every nook and cranny of the site is filled with notes and scribbles enhancing that personal feel and making the site as warm and approachable as Arda herself.
