Raising a family can be a challenging prospect. HomeStart provide fully-vetted and approved volunteers who spend time with families and offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families in their own homes in times of need.

Given that the majority of Karyx have one or more offspring this was a project close to our hearts. HomeStart provide a valuable resource for those in difficult family situations and we knew we could rise the challenge and deliver a site worthy of the HomeStart brand.

As their operations expanded and more and more families came to them for help HomeStart Congleton Borough realised that they desperately needed a central repository for the mountains of information they were compiling. As more and more and more of their clients began to utilise the web to browse services and resources it was clear that an easy-to-use, dynamically driven website was a priority for the localised branch of the charity.

Karyx designed and built a crisp, clean and fresh site that takes the HomeStart branding and brings it bang up-to-date. A simple admin system at the backend allows the HomeStart crew to continually update upcoming events, manage volunteer registrations and produce email newsletters (significantly reducing the time and effort spent).

Alongside the site itself, Karyx have been working on an entirely new database system for the Congleton Borough branch. Separate to the main HomeStart database system this ongoing project draws in all of the disparate information elements and processes into one beautifully designed system. The data is in and this should be going live anytime soon!
